Journal of Vector Ecology

Overview
The Journal of Vector Ecology is a peer-reviewed international journal published by the Society for Vector Ecology twice a year in June and December. It publishes research reports dealing with all aspects of the biology, ecology, and control of arthropod and vertebrate vectors and the relationships between the vectors and the agents of disease that they transmit. Manuscripts that describe pesticide resistance or the chemical control of arthropods without an ecological framework have a low priority for publication.

In 2025, the Journal of Vector Ecology had an impact factor of 1.3.
